Private Schools Interscholastic Association

In order to highlight the academic strengths both of individual students and of the school’s curriculum, St. Francis participates in the Private Schools Interscholastic Association (PSIA) District Contest. The event highlights the academic achievements of private school students and offers them challenging activities outside of the classroom. Students are encouraged to participate in the contest by advisors and classroom teachers; are selected in the late fall through a series of practice tests; work with teachers and parents to prepare for their contests; and are recognized in all-school assemblies.

Over the last several years, hundreds of St. Francis students have received recognition for their academic abilities at the PSIA District Contest, which is periodically hosted on campus to allow other schools to observe St. Francis’ surroundings, community, students and faculty.
