Sarah W. Woolrich Fund for Faculty

Inspired teaching is often what makes the difference between a child merely attending school and one who truly enjoys learning. It is in this spirit that St. Francis Episcopal Day School established the Sarah W. Woolrich Fund for Faculty. Named for our school’s remarkable first principal, the fund is designed to enhance the educational experience of our students by first expanding the horizons of our teachers. Thanks to the Woolrich Fund, our teachers have stood before the art masters at museums in Paris, participated in a dinosaur dig, walked through the Holy Land and toured the Roman Empire. It is not hard to imagine the science, art, history and religious lessons these experiences inspired.
