Support St. Francis

Poised, confident, kind, curious, resilient and interesting—these are words used by prospective parents, field-trip docents and campus guests when they first meet our students. What started as one kindergarten class of 24 children has now become one of the premier independent schools in the Houston area. This success would not have been possible without a history of generosity from parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, and friends who invested in making our mission stronger. Only through continuing their legacy of giving can St. Francis remain an outstanding institution that is sought out both by incredible educators as a wonderful environment in which to work and by parents as the best school to educate their children.
St. Francis Episcopal Day School, like all independent schools, is responsible for its funding. Tuition serves as our primary source of revenue, but it is not sufficient to cover the cost of a St. Francis education. To remain an independent school, St. Francis cannot receive financial support from local or federal taxes. Therefore, we rely on charitable gifts to both balance the yearly budget and provide long-term financial stability for the school.
There are a variety of ways to support St. Francis through financial contributions, and the following have been designated as areas of highest priority. Please click on the links below to find out more about each initiative.

There is a line in the Prayer of St. Francis that says, "for it is in giving that we receive." We hope you find deep satisfaction in what your contributions make possible at St. Francis Episcopal Day School.
